Charlie Watt of Canada
(below) conducted a west-
ern style campaign as he
fervently argued that it
was canada’s turn to head
the Inuit organization.
Wilie Hensley, (lower
right in center) chats with
fellow delegates Charlie
Johnson of Nome and Eu-
gene Brower of Barrow.
Hensley said his nomina-
tion came as a complete
surprise to him.
